  I just replaced about 900 sqft of carpet with hardwood. When purchasing the wood, my contractor said not to buy from bigbox stores so after I researched several speciality stores, I chose Lumber Liquidators (I'm fully aware of the history). I ordered online the select maple, at a price that nobody could beat, and some accessories (T-moulding and stair nose), all shipped to my garage. I ordered 47 boxes, for about 980 sqft, as people say you have to get 10 to 20% more than the actual area (sometimes up to 40% more if from some big box store). All arrived in about 2 weeks, with emails/phone updates. Very smooth. The use: select maple far exceeds my expectation. No complaints what's so ever about the length, grain or color. My contractor saved a lot of time not going through the wood among different boxes. Using the same standard, T-moulding seems to be mostly okay (85% good), with even color issue for a small section; Stair nose is about 70% okay, but with some selection it is matched (color and grain) well with the floor wood. Customer service: Pretty good. 30 days return policy is reasonable. Returning of the unused boxes of hardwood and noses are very easy, with minimum number of questions asked. Because I didn't order any extra for the nose, I called my online order contact, left a voicemail and then sent a email (I did get a return call). As the project was waiting, I called the local store. Unfortunately there's no supply at the warehouse, the store kindly offered to order for me but I figured that I could order myself as well. After one week the parts arrived and I picked up at store. Before I could complete the project, I realized that my still needed some more wood, so I called the store again, got the wood, and returned the unused nose parts. Very smooth. No complaints. Summary: five stars for quality and price of of the select maple I got. Accessory parts meet my expectations. Return of unused items are very easy.
